Now to my task for this evening: From sixteen nominations for the
"Outstanding Young Scientist" of the year, the judges have chosen Dr.
Andre T. Jagendorf, of Randallstown, who is with the Department of
Biology of the Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Jagendorf, it gives me great pleasure to present to you this out-
standing award. I congratulate you heartily and offer you my sincere
best wishes for continued happiness and success in your pursuit of
