MARYLAND COURT OF APPEALS 87

The whole proceedings aforesaid as also the Reasons being here read
and by this Board fully understood Whereupon it is Considered by this
Board that the Judgmt of the Provll Court agt the sd John Salter Given as afd
be Affirmed and holden for Good, And it is Awarded That procedendo issue

MARYLAND ss In the Records of the Provinciall Court amongst other
things it is thus Conteined.

To his Excy the Govr and Councill as a Court Constituted and Appointed
for the hearing of Appeales and Writts of Error.

Att a Provinciall Court held att the Porte of Annapolis the 2ist day of
October in the 9th Year of the Reigne of our Sovereigne Lord William the 3d
by the grace of God of England Scottland France and Ireland King Defender
of the faith etc. Annoque Dni 1697.

Before the Honble Robert Smith; Capt Richard Hill; Mr Thomas Staley;
Mr Francis Jenkins; Major John Thompson; Mr William Hatton, Justices
present

William Alderne agt Isaack Seserson

Isaack Seserson late of Talbott County Marriner was attached to Answer
unto Wm Aldern Gent of a plea wherefore by force and Arms into all that
Plantation or Tract of Land Called Cumberland lying on the North Side
of Great Choptank and betwixt Tredhaven and a Creek called Irish Creek
beginning at a Marked Oak Standing by the Side of Irish Creek and att the
End of a West North West line of a parcell of Land Called Clayhope and
running thence wth the Said Land East South East one hundred and Seaventy
pearches to a Parcell of Land Called Forte Ventura and thence with the Said
land South South East one hundred perches to a pcell of Land Called Cove
Hall and then with the land of Covehall South one hundred and Sixty perches
and then with the said Land East North East one hundred Ninety Eight
perches and then one hundred and Sixty perches to the first Markt tree of
Covehall Standing by Tredhaven Creek and from thence down and wth the
Creek to the 3d bound tree of Covehall and then wth the Said Land West
north West one hundred perches and from the End of the West North West
line North West and by North three hundred Seaventy five perches to the
first bounded Tree and from thence up the Said Irish Creek North and by
West one hundred and fifty perches to a parcell of Land laid out for Jonas
Lambert and then with the Said Land North East Sixty perches and then
South South East halfe a point Southerly one hundred Twenty Eight perches
to the first bound tree Conteining Two hundred Acres more or less together
with all the houses and Appurtenances whatsoever to the Same belonging
which Mary Royston widdow, to the Said William Aldern did demise for a
term which is not yet past he did Enter and him from his Farm aforesaid he
