Writt afd but be in Mercy for his false Clamour And that the said Richard
Willis go thereof without day. And it is also Considered that the Said Rich-
ard Willis recover against the sd Francis Skirven the Sum of Seven hundred
and Eighty three pounds of tobacco for his Costs and Charges afd and it is
further Considered by his Said Lordships Said Court now here that the s"
Richd Willis recover of the sd Francis Skirven thirteen hundred and Seventy
one pounds of tobacco to the said Rd Willis to the Court now here of his
assent adjudged according to the forme of the Statute thereof lately made
and provided for his Costs and charges Sustained by reason of the delay of the
Execution of the Judgment afd by pretext of prosecuting his Lordships Writt
of Errr And that the Said Richard Willis have thereof Execution etc. Appeale
Prayed from the judgment of this Court to his Majesty in Council Which is
Granted on Giving Security Saving Nevertheless his Lordships Right and
ordered by the Court here that it be Entered by of Protestation against the
said Appeale in the manner Wherein it is Prayed. The aforesaid Appeal
Granted on giving good Security in the Sum of One Hundred Pounds Ster-
ling. And Ruled in this Cause that the Security be Approved of by the
Court.

Lordship v John Stokes

Heretofore To Witt as it Appears in the records and Entries of this
Court To Witt the 14th Day of May Anno Dom: 1729 his Lordships Justices
of the Provinciall Court Transmitt to his Lordships Governour and Council
of the Province aforesaid Sitting as a Court of Appeals and Errors the follow-
ing Record on An Appeale Made by Edmond Jennings Who Married Ariana
Bordley the Executrix of Thomas Bordley Esqr Deced from the judgment
of the Provincial Court the Tenour of Which follows in these words Vizt:
MARYLAND sst In the Records and Proceedings of the Provincial Court of
the Province Aforesaid. Amongst other things is Contained As follows Vizt
MARYLAND sst At A Provinciall Court held at the City of Annapolis in the
County of Ann" for the Province of Maryland on the third Tuesday in Octo-
ber being the fifteenth Day of the Same Month in the fourteenth Year of the
Dominion of the Right Honrble Charles absolute Lord and Propry of the
provinces of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore etc: Annoque
Domini 1728.

Were Present: The Honrble William Lock Esqr; John Smith Esqr, Justices
James Govane sherr: Vachel Denton Clk.
