Arundell County Greeting We comand you that you take the Body of
Thomas Tench Esq^r Adm^r of all the Goods and Chattells of Lyonel Copley
Esq^r deceased if he Shall be found in Yo^r Bailywick and him Safe keep So
that you have his Body before the Justices of our Provinciall Court the first
Tuesday of October next to Answer unto Elizab: Blakiston Adm^r of all and
Singular the Goods and Chattells of Nehemiah Blakiston Esq^r Late Coll^r and
Receiver of their Matys Revenues in Potomock District which Said Nehe-
miah Was and whose Adm^r as Such is our Debtor of a plea of Trespass upon
the Case the Said Adm^r being unable to Satisfy us our debt due from the
Said Nehemiah and from her as the Said Nehemiahs Adm^r untill She Shall
recover from the Said Thomas Tench as Adm^r of the Said Lyonel Copley
A Debt due from the Said Copley to the Said Nehemiah as the Said Adm^r
Shall reasonably Shew for want Whereof as is Said She is grievously damni-
fyed and the receipt of our Revennue delayed. Witness S^r Thomas Lawrence
Barr¹ Chief Judge of our Prov^ll Court this 15^th day of May 1694

Which Said Provinciall Court was Adjourned to the 6^th day of Novem-
ber following on which Said Sixth Day of November Came the Said Sher-
riffe and made returne of the Said Writt in these words (Viz^t:

W^m Holland Sherr

And the Said Thomas Tench by George Plater his Attorney Corns and
defends the force and Injury when [etc.] and prayeth

[83] Liberty to Imparle hereof untill the next Provinciall Court and it [is]
granted unto him the Same day is given to the P^u also.

Att which Said next provinciall Court to witt the 19^th day of August in
the Year of our Lord 1695 Came as well the s^d Elizabeth Blakiston by Philip
Clk her Attorney as the Said Thomas Tench by William Dent his Attry and
prayeth further Liberty to Imparle untill the Next Prov^ll Court and it is
granted to him the Same day is given the p^lt also.

Att which Said next Prov^ll Court to witt the 2^d day of October Anno Dni

1695 Came again the partys af^d by their Attrys aforesaid and the Said Thomas
Tench Adm^r as aforesaid prayed further Liberty to Imparle untill the next
Provinciall Court for Tryall by Jurys and it granted unto him the Same day
is given to the p^lt also.

att which Said Next Prov^ll Court to witt the 12^th day of May 1696 Came
again the Said partys by their Attorneys af^d and the S^d Thomas Tench prayed
further Liberty to Imparle till the Next Provinciall Court for Tryall by Jurys
and it is granted unto him the Same day is given to the p^lt also.

Att which Said next Prov^ll Court to witt the 29^th day of Sep^t Anno Dni

1696 Came again the Said partys by their Attrys Aforesaid and the Said
Thomas Tench by his Attorney aforesaid prayed further Liberty to Imparle
untill the Next Provinciall Court and it is Granted him the Same day is given
to the pit also.
