MARYLAND COURT OF APPEALS 283

MARYLAND ss Charles Absolute Lord and Proprietary of the Prov-
inces of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore etc: To Collo Wm
Holland Cheif Justice of our Provinciall Court of the Province of Maryland
and his Associates Justices of the Same Court Greeting Because in the Rec-
ords and process and also in the rendering of Judgment which was in the
provinciall Court before you the said Wm Holland and your Associates late
Justices of the said Court by a Writt of Recovery betwixt Coll" Thomas En-
nails Plantiffe and Wm Dorrington of Dorchester County Planter and Rich-
ard Hooper of the said County Defendants of Certain Entailed Lands in
the same Court before you the said Wm Holland and his Associates afsd Re-
covered against the said Wm Dorrington and Richard Hooper in the plea
afsd as it is sayd Manifest Errors has happend to the great Damage of the said
Wm Dorrington and Richard Hooper as of their Complaint we have received,
We being willing that the Error if any there be should be duely corrected
and full and speedy Justice done in this behalf Command you that if Judg-
ment is rendered then the record and process of the plea afsd with all things
thereunto relateing to our Govrn and Councill of Maryland at Annapolis on
the Second thursday in September Next under your hands and Seales dis-
tinctly and Openly you send and this Writt that the Record and process afsd
being inspected our said Governour and Councill may further cause to
be done for the Correcting of that Error what of right and according to
Law Shall be to be done Wittness our Self at the City of [433] Annap-
olis this 26th day of April in the 5th year of our Domn' etc: Annoque Dom:
1720.

The Answer of Wm Holland Esqr Cheif Justice within Mentioned and
his Associates. The Record and process whereof within Mention is made
with all things concerning the same to the Honble the High Court of Appeals
to be held at the City of Annapolis at the day within Contained is sent in a
certain Record to this Writt Annext.
