Executio Decreti issued.
[428] MARYLAND ss Charles Absolute Lord and Proprietary of the Prov-
inces of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore etc: To John
Gresham Gent. Greeting. Whereas by a Certain finall Judgmt or Decree be-
fore our Late Governour and Councill in our high Court of Appeals and Er-
rors lately made and rendered Between Thomas Bordley Appellant and you
the afsaid John Gresham Defendant bareing date the twentyth Sixth day of
May Anno Domi: one thousand Seven hundred and twenty it was Ordered
and Adjudged that you should pay to the said Thomas Bordley the sum of
one thousand four hundred and Seventy six pounds of Tobacco and Seven
pounds thirteen shillings and one penny Currant money the Cost of the said
Bordley by him lay'd out Expended in his Defence in our high Court of
Chancery at the suit of you the said Gresham Together with the sum of Six
thousand one hundred and four pounds of Tobacco his Costs in this Court
Wee being willing inviolably to Observe the Decree of our said Court Com-
mand and firmly enjoyne you that immediately after the receipt of this Writt
the afsd one thousand four hundred and Seventy six pounds of Tobacco and
Seven pounds thirteen shillings and one penny afsd and Six thousand one
hundred and four pounds of Tobacco which in the whole amounts to Seven
thousand five hundred and Eighty pounds of Tobacco and Seven pounds
thirteen shillings and one penny afsd to the said Thomas Bordley in Due
manner you pay or cause to be paid According to the tenor and true intention
of the Decree afsd And that this at your peril by no means you Omitt Witt-
ness our Trusty and well beloved Thomas Brooke Esqr President of our
Councill of State and Commdr in Cheif within this Our Province this
13th day of September in the fifth year of our Dominion Annoque Domi.
