Grace Mitchell and Daniell Phillips Adm^rs of all and singular the goods
chatties rights and Creditts which were of the said Henry Mitchell deceased
at the time of his death that they be and appear before the Justices of our
Provinciall Court to be held at Annapolis the Third Tuesday of July next
to shew cause (if any) they have or for themselves can say why the said
William Bladen Gentⁿ our Attorney Generall in our said Province of Mary-
land for us and on our behalf Execution against them the said Grace Mitchell
and Daniell Phillips of the Debt aforesaid according to the forme of the re-
covery aforesaid to be leavyd of the goods and chatties which were of the
said Henry Mitchell at the time of his Death remaining in their hands to be
Administred he ought not to have if to them it shall seem meet and have you
then there the names of those by whom you make the Same knowne and this
Writt Wittness William Holland Esqr Chief Justice of our said Court the
17^th day of April in the 11^th Year of our Reigne etc. Annoque Domini 1712.

[248] Att which said Third Tuesday of July to witt the 15^th day of the same
Month Anno Domi 1712 being the day of the returne of the said Writt comes
as well the said William Bladen her Majestys said Attorney Generall as also
the Sheriff of Calvert County to witt John Smith Gentⁿ who makes returne
to the Court here of the Writt to him directed aforesaid endorsed in these
words Viz^t To the Justices within mentioned I Certiiye that by virtue of the
Within writt I have made known to the within named Grace Mitchell and
Dan" Phillips Administrators of all and Singular the goods chatties rights
and Creditts which were of the Within named Henry Mitchell deceas'd at
the time of his death that they be and appear before the Justices within
named at the day and place within contained to shew cause if any they have
or for themselves can say why the within named William Bladen Gentⁿ, her
Majestys Attorney Generall in her Majestys Province of Maryland for her
Majesty and on her behalf Execution against Them the said Grace Mitchell
and Daniel Phillips of the debt within specified According to the forme of
the recovery within mentioned to be leavyd of the goods and chatties which
were of the within named Henry Mitchell at the time of his death in their
hands remaining to be Administred he ought not to have before Charles
Allen and Benjamen Macall two good and lawfull men of my ballywick as
by the within writt I am commanded (so answers) Jn^o Smith Shre [sic]

Whereupon the said Grace Mitchell and Daniel Phillips Administrators
as aforesaid by Wornell Hunt their Attorney come and pray leave to Imparle
hereunto untill next Court and they have it and the same day is given to the
said William Bladen her Majestys said Attorney Generall who for her said
Majesty in this behalf prosecuteth also; At which said next Court to witt
the Seaventh day of October Anno Domini 1712 come again as well the said
