for the Said Henry Hawkins and that he make knawne unto the Garnishee
or Garnishees in whose hand or hands he Should Attach the Same or any part
thereof that he or they be and appear here this day (that is to Say) The
twelfth day of January to Show Cause if any they have why the Same Should
not be Condemned And the Said Henry Hawkins have thereof Execu-
tion etc:

And the Sheriffe now returneth That he by Virtue of the Writt afs^d hath
attached in the hands of Henry Thompson at Stumpneck one Negro Woman
appraised at Six Thousand five hundred pounds of Tobacco and one p^r of
Cart Wheels appraised at Six hundred and fifty pounds of tobacco by Joseph
Bullet and George Brett the two Sworne Appraisers and three hogsheads of
tobacco in the hands of the Said Henry Thomson weighing neat Eleaven
hundred Eighty and four pounds of tobacco and in the hands of William
Hawling [22] three Cowes appraised at Eighteen hundred pounds of Tobacco
and one heifer betwixt two and three years of age appraised at four hundred
pounds of tob: by John Harrison and John Aylward the two Sworne ap-
praisers and in the hands of Richard Leman one Copper Kettle weighing
fifty Eight pounds appraised at Six hundred pounds of tobacco and one
Small Pestle appraised at fifty pounds of tobacco by Thomas Hussey and
Lawrence Rotchforth the two Sworne appraisers and in the hands of William
Frost two thousand Eight hundred pounds of tobacco, and in the hands of
Thomas Austin Four hundred pounds of tobacco and in the hands of John
Barrett Four hundred pounds of Tobacco, and in the hands of John Fearn-
ley Seaven hundred and fifty pounds of tobacco in all amounting to the
Summe of Fifteene Thousand five hundred thirty and Four pounds of To-
bacco, And that he hath made known to the Said Henry Thompson, William
Hawling Richard Leman William Frost Thomas Austin John Barrett and
John Fearnley that they be here this day (that is to Say) the Twelfth day of
January to Shew cause in forme afore Said.

At which day came the Said Hen: Hawkins by his Attorney afore Said
and as well the Said Philip Lynes as the Said Henry Thompson, William
Hawling Richard Leman Will^m Frost, Thomas Austin John Barrett and
John Fearnley though Solemnly called came not nor any of them came.

Whereupon the Said Henry Hawkins prayeth Condemnation and Exe-
cution against the Said Henry Thompson of the Said Negro Woman and the
Said p^r of Cart Wheeles and the Said three hogsheads of tobacco weighing
neat Eleaven Hundred eighty and four pounds of tobacco and against the
Said William Hawling of the Said Three Cowes and the Said heifer, and
against the Said Richard Leman of the Said Copper Kittle and pestle and
against the Said William Frost of the Said two Thousand and Eight hundred
pounds of Tobacco, and against the Said Thomas Austin of the Said Four
hundred pounds of Tobacco, and against the Said John Barrett of the Said
