We Solomon Wright and Phillip Lynes being by the Justices of the
Provinciall Court appointed to inspect into A bond due due [sic] from
Mr Jno Edmondson of Talbot County deceased to Mr Hugh Hall of Ber-
badoes and likewise severall Accounts and payments disbursed [220] and
made betwixt them we have enquired into the same and do find that the
ballance due from John Edmondson at the time of his decease to Mr Hugh
Hall of Berbadoes is as above stated and Amounts to the Sume of Fifty
four pounds Eight Shillings and three pence Sterling and this We Signify
under our hands this fifteenth day of October 1701

Afterwards to witt the said Fifteenth day of October last mentioned
came again the said partys by their Attorneys aforesaid and the Accounts
aforesaid so Audited and Stated was here read and heard and by the Justices
here understood they do find there is remaning on the Obligation aforesaid
only the Summe of Fifty four pounds Eight shillings and three pence Sterling
the ballance of the debt aforesd
Whereupon it is Considered by the Justices here the same day and
Year last mentiond that the said Hugh Hall the Administrator aforesaid
Recover against the said James Edmondson the heir of John Edmondson
deceasd as aforesaid As Well the said Summe of Fifty four pounds Eight
Shillings and three pence the ballance of the debt aforesaid As also the Sume
of Six Hundred Ninety one pounds of tobacco costs of Suite in this behalf
layd out and expended and the Defendant in Mercy etc.
In the Records and Proceedings of her Majestys Provinciall Court
amongst other things is thus Contained as follows Vizt
MARYLAND ss. At A Court of her Sacred Majesty Anne by the Grace of
God of England Scotland France and Ireland Queen defender of the faith
etc. held at Annapolis in Ann Arundell County for the Province of Mary-
land the Sixteenth day of May in the third Year of her said Majestys reigne
etc. Annoque Dmi 1704
