Acts made at a Session of ASSEMBLY, begun and
    held at the City of St. Mary's, on the 14th Day of
    November,  in the 13th Year of the Dominion of
    CHARLES, &c. Annoq; Domini 1688, and ended
    the 8th Day of December following.
CHAP. I
AN act for a perpetual Commemoration and Thanksgiving, every 10th Day of
   
June, for the Birth of the Prince.   Lib. WH. fol. 295.  REP.

CHAP. II.
An Act for reviving the Temporary Laws of this Province.  Lib. WH. fol.
   
295.  EXP.
    Three Years, or to the End of the next General Assembly.  By this Act the several 
Laws following were revived and continued, viz. 1661, ch.  3 and 5.  1663-4, ch. 1 and 2.  1666, 
ch. 1 and 4.  1669, ch. 2, 3, and 71671, ch. 4, 7, 8, 9, 23, 25, and 30.  1674, ch. 3, 4,

5, 7, 9, 13, and 26.  1676, ch. 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 13, 14, 16, and 17.  1678, ch. 5, 7, 8, 10,
and 11.  1681, ch. 1, 2, 3, 5, and 14.  1682, ch. 1, 2, and 3.  1683, ch. 2 and 3.  1684,
ch. 3. and 1686, ch. 4.

CHAP. III.
An Additional Act to the * Act for regulating Ordinaries, and limiting the Number
    of them within this Province.  Lib. WH. fol. 298.  EXP.

1678, ch. 5.  The present Act to continue 3 Years, or the the End of the next General Assembly.
        A new Act which gave the Licence-Money to the Governor, was made 1692, ch. 42.

CHAP. VI.
An Act for erecting some new necessary Towns.  Lib. WH. fol. 302.
    N.B. 
By this Act the following Towns, &c. were erected, viz.
     St. Mary's County,         One Hundred Acres of Land, on the North Side of Wiccocomico
                                                   
River, between White-Point and  Bluff-Point, upon the Land of
                                                    Mr. Gerrard Slye, to be called Wiccocomico-Town.
                                               At the Head of St. Jerome's Creek, on the Land of Mr. William Gwither,
                                                    to be called St. Jerome's-Town.
    Kent
County,                    One Hundred Acres, on Cackaway-Point, in Cackaway Bay, being
                                                    formerly the Land of Toby Wells, to be called Glocester-Town.

    Calvert County,               On the South Side of Patuxent River, between Abbington's Creek and
                                                    Joseph Edloes, to be called St. Joseph's-Town.
                                                At Bowling's Point, in the Freshes of Patuxent, to be called Bowlington.
    Dorchester
County,        Upon a Tract of Land called Morgan, near the Head of Fishing
                                                    
Creek, in Little Choptank, to be called Dorchester.
    Talbot
County,                On the North Side of Corsica Creek, at a Place called Gleven's Point,
                                                     to be called Talbot-Town;
The which several Towns, Ports, and Places of Trade, to be under such Restrictions and Limitations,
and also to enjoy the full Benefit, &c. of any other Towns, &c. by the several Acts for
the Advancement of Trade, &c.

An Act for the Advancement of making Linen and Woollen Cloth within this
    Province.  Lib.

To be in Force 7 Years from the 25th December 1688.

    this Province.  Lib.
