1762.
At a Session of ASSEMBLY begun and held at the
    City of Annapolis, on Wednesday the 17th Day of
    March, in the 11th Year of the Dominion of the

    Right Honourable FREDERICK, Lord Baron of
    Baltimore, absolute Lord and Proprietary of the
    Provinces of Maryland and Avalon, &c. and ended
    the 24th Day of April following, in the 12th Year
    of his Lordship's Dominion, Annoq; Domini 1762:
    The following Laws were Enacted.
HORATIO SHARPE, Esq; Governor.

 
CHAP. I.
An Act for the Adjournment and Continuance of Prince George's and Queen-Anne's
    County Courts.  Lib. H.S.  fol. 398.  OBS.
Passed 2d
April 1762.
Viz.  From the 4th Tuesday in March till the 4th Tuesday in June next.

 
CHAP. II.
An ACT continuing an Act, entitled, An Act to exempt Persons appearing at
    Musters from Arrests in Civil Cases.  Lib. H.S.  fol. 399.
   
1748, ch. 1,.  Hereby continued for Three Years next ensuing, and to the End of the next
        Session of Assembly which shall happen after the End of the said Three Years.
 
Passed 24th
April 1762.
CHAP. III.
An ACT continuing an Act, entitled, An Act to prevent certain Evils and
    Inconveniencies attending the Sale of Strong Liquors, and Running Horse-Races,
    near the Yearly Meetings of the People called Quakers; and to prevent the tumultuous
    Concourse of Negroes and other Slaves, during the said Meetings;
and
    also one other Act, entitled, An Act to amend and explain an Act, entitled
    An Act to prevent certain Evils and Inconveniencies attending the Sale of Strong
    Liquors, and Running of Horse-Races, near the Yearly Meetings of the people

    called Quakers; and to prevent the tumultuous Concourse of Negroes and other
    Slaves, during the said Meetings.  Lib.
H.S.  fol. 399.
   
1747, ch. XVII.    1752, ch. XIV.  Both which are hereby continued for Three Years
next ensuing, and to the End of the next Session of Assembly which shall happen after the
End of the said Three Years.

An ACT continuing an Act, entitled, An Act for Punishment of Horse-Stealers,
    and other Offenders.  Lib.
H.S.  fol. 400.
   
1744, ch. XX.  Hereby continued for Three Years next ensuing, and to the End of the
        next Session of Assembly which shall happen after the End of the said Three Years.

CHAP. V.
An ACT continuing an Act, entitled, An Act for the more effectual Punishment
    of certain Offenders, and for taking from them the Benefit of Clergy.
    Lib.
H.S.  fol. 400.
   
1737, ch. II.  Hereby continued for Three Years next ensuing, and to the End of the next
        Session of Assembly, which shall happen after the End of the said Three Years.

CHAP. VI.
An ACT continuing an Act, entitled, An additional and explanatory Act to
    the Act, entitled, An Act impowering the Commissioners of the County Courts
    to levy and raise Tobacco to defray the necessary Charges of their Counties and
    Parishes.,  Lib. H.S.  fol. 401.
   
1748, ch. XX.  Hereby continued for Three Years next ensuing, and to the End of the
        next Session of Assembly, which shall happen after the End of the said Three Years.

An ACT continuing an Act, entitled, An Act relating to Guardians and Orphans.
