Monday 1759, being very Rainy, so as the Vestry cou'd not meet to proceed
in
the election of Vestry-men and Church-wardens, so that the Parish was not,
from that Time.
fully represented; notwithstanding which, the Vestry had transacted the
Parish Business: This
Act makes valid the Vestry transactions in 1759, so far
as relates to Taxing of Batchelors and
chusing Inspectors, and enables the parish to elect four new Vestry-men,
and two Church-wardens,
&c.
