This Act, which was to the
same Effect of 1662, ch. 3, was revived by 1678, ch. 15, excepting
one Clause at the latter End, viz. So far as
the Court shall judge them not inconsistent with the
Condition of the Province. Which Clause
is accordingly left out in the Records above referred to,
they being Provincial Bodies of laws, in the Year 1678,
when the aforesaid Clause was no
longer in Force. In which State this law was successively
continued, till 1684, when it totally
expired. His Lordship's Dissent to this Law was
declared in Assembly, the 13th April 1669;
it was also repealed by 1676, ch. 2, and again
revived as above in 1678. |
