An Act reviving an Act of Assembly of this Province, entitled, * An Act prohibiting
    the Importation of Bread, Beer, Flour, Malt, Wheat, or other
English
    or Indian Grain or Meal; Horses, Mares, Colts or Fillies, from Pensylvania,
    and the Territories thereto belonging.  Lib.  LL. N° 4. fol. 101.
    * 1704, ch. 43, hereby continued without Limitation, which is REP. 1715, ch. 49; and

CHAP. I.
An Act laying an Imposition of Three Pence per Hogshead on Tobacco, for defraying
    the Public Charge of this Province.  Lib.

Passed 3d
July 1714.
To endure for 3 Years.  The Act of 1704, ch. 64, is hereby repealed.

 
CHAP. II.
An act for settling a Revenue on her Majesty's present Governor.  Lib. LL. N°
    4. fol. 104.  EXP.
    Viz. 
Three Pence Sterling per Hogshead on all Tobaccoes exported, so long as J. Hart, Esq;
        shall continue Governor.

An Act reviving and continuing an Act of Assembly of this Province, entitled,
   
An Act for the ordering and regulating the Militia of this Province, for the
    better Security and Defence thereof; and for supplying some Defects therein.

Tobaccoes (which is their only Staple Manufacture) being taken by the Enemy,
but also by the European Markets being shut up, by Reason of the Export
 
Preamble.
