1700. At a Session of ASSEMBLY begun and held at Annapolis,
   
on the 26th Day of April, in the 12th Year
    of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord WILLIAM the
    Third, of England, Scotland, France and Ireland,
    King, Defender of the Faith, &c. Annoq; Domini
   
1700, and ended the 9th Day of May following,
    were Enacted the following Laws.

CHAP. I.
Passed 9th of
May 1700.
An Act for the Service of Almighty GOD, and Establishment of Religion in this
    Province, according to the Church of
England.  Lib. LL. N° 2. fol. 372
    REP. 1702, ch. 1, §. 21.
    N.B.  This Act, being laid before his Majesty in Council. was not approved in all it's parts;
and wa accordingly sent Back, with Amendments proposed; which were accepted, and an Act
pursuant thereto, passed the 25th March 1702.  Whereby this Act is repealed.

 
CHAP. II.
Ditto. An Act for the speedy trial of Criminals, and ascertaining their Punishments in the
    County Courts when prosecuted there.  Lib.
LL. N° 2. fol. 383.  REP.
This Act repeals the Act of 1699, ch. 44.  A new Act 1704, ch. 24.

 
CHAP. III.
Ditto. An Act for the present Security of the Frontier Plantations, against the Incursions
    and Violence of
Indians.  Lib. LL. N° 2. fol. 387.  EXP.
   
The Powers given by this Act to continue, after the Breaking up of this Session, until the
        General Assembly could possibly be convened.

Ditto. An additional * Act touching Coopers, and the Gauge of Tobacco Hogsheads.  Lib.
