President Constitutional Convention of Maryland:
The undersigned, Clerk of the Circuit Court for Anne
Arundel county, in obedience to an order of the Constitutional
Convention, passed the 15th inst., "that the Clerks of the
Circuit Courts for this State be requested to furnish to this
Convention a statement of the number of indictments found
by the Grand Juries of their respective counties during the
years 1864, '65, '66 and '67, and the disposition made of the
same, so as to show how many have been quashed, how many
ruled bad on demurrer, and how many convictions and ac-
quittals have been had under the same," respectfully re-
ports that at the April term, 1864, of the said Court, there
