elect, appeared, was duly qualified, and entered upon his
duties.
Mr. Page submitted the following order:
Ordered, That the Secretary be instructed to furnish each
member of this Contention with a copy of the Constitution
of 1851 and 1864, printed in pamphlet form.
Pending the consideration of which,
Mr. Barnes submitted the following order as a substitute :
Ordered. That the debates containing the Constitution of
1851 and 1864 now in the Library, be distributed among the
members of the Convention to be returned at the end of the
Convention;

Ordered, That the Secretary have printed for the use of
the Convention, in card form, two hundred copies of the dif-
ferent standing committees;

Mr. Motter submitted the following order :
Ordered, That the Committee on the Executive Depart-
ment be requested to inquire into the expediency of granting
a veto power to the Governor;
Which was adopted.
Mr. Syester submitted the following order:
Ordered, That the Clerk of the Court of Appeals be, and
he is hereby respectfullyn-equested to furnish to this Conven-
tion, the number and names of the State cases argued in the
Court of Appeals by the Attorney General since his instal-
lation in office;
Which was adopted.
