sembly is hereby authorized to alter, amend or change the
provisions of this Section ,
Fending the consideration of which,
Mr. Walsh submitted the following amendment:
Strike out all after the word "interest," in line 12, to the
word "and," in line 14 ;
Trending the consideration of which,
Mr. Syester moved the previous question.
"Shall the previous question be now put?"
The question then recurring upon the adoption of the
amendment,
Mr. Stoddert demanded the yeas and nays.
