Sec. 1. After the word "ticket," in the second line, insert
the words "of each county ;"
Which was adopted.
The section as amended was then read.
The Convention then resumed the consideration of the 3d
Section ;
Pending which,
Mr. Barry submitted the following amendment:
Sec. 3. Add to the end of the section, "and it shall be the
duty of the Legislature, at its first session after the adoption
of this Constitution, to pass a law regulating the mode and
manner in which the books in the Library shall be kept and
accounted for by the Librarian, and requiring the Librarian
to give a bond, in such penalty as the Legislature may affix,
for the proper discharge of his duties ;"
Which was adopted.
