Mr. Carter submitted the following order as a substitute:
Ordered, That it is the sense of this Convention, and of
the people which it represents, that the presence of all the
members at its daily sessions is required for the completion
of the work of this Convention within a reasonable time, and
the members of the Convention are hereby earnestly requested
to he present at all of its future sessions.
Pending the consideration of which,
Mr. Carter moved the previous question.
The question then being,

It was sustained.
