[p. 152] Joseph Baxter Esquire is appointed Clerk of Caecil County Court in the room of
Barruch Williams Esqr. deceased, until the meeting of the same, and Commission issued to him
accordingly.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning.

Thursday 25th. February 1790

The Council met.

Present as on yesterday.

Commissions issued to the following Persons appointed Inspectors of Dorchester County:

John Pitt: of ............... Ennals ferry warehouse

William Vickars 2d .............. Whites Warehouse

John Ball ............... .Vienna

Commission issued to Edward Noel, Thomas Jones, Henry Leeke, Daniel Sullivane and
Solomon Birkhead appointed Justices of the Orphans Court of Dorchester County.
The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning.

Friday 26th. February 1790

The Council met.

Present his Excellency John Eager Howard Esquire

The Hon'ble. John Kilty

James Brice

John Davidson

Randolph B. Latimer Esquires

Ordered that the western Shore Treasurer pay to Frederick Green Thirty seven pounds,
seventeen Shillings and five pence due him per Account passed by the Auditor.

That the said Treasurer pay to Benjamin Rumsey Esqr. fifty pounds for a quarter's Salary
as one of the Judges of the Court of Appeals due the 1st. instant.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning.

[p. 153] Saturday 27th. February 1790

The Council met.

Present as on yesterday.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Thomas Johnson jun'r. one hundred
pounds, for two quarters Salary as Clerk of the Council due the 1st. November last Sixty two
pounds, ten Shillings for one quarter's Salary due the 1st. instant, and also the further Sum of
Forty eight pounds, seventeen shillings and four pence due him per Account passed by the
Auditor General.

That the said Treasurer pay to Capt. David Lynn, the Sum of twenty two pounds, fifteen
shillings Current Money due for five months pay to the following persons viz—to George
Clarke ten pounds five Shillings, and to Michael Wiser twelve pounds, ten shillings by virtue
of a power of Attorney given by them to him which is this Day received into the General Court
Office to be recorded, as appears by a Certificate from under the hand of the Clerk of the said
