Tuesday 22d. December 1789

The Council met.

Present as on Yesterday.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Jesse Suit Twenty shillings current
money per account passed by the Auditor General

That the Said Treasurer pay to James Curren a Soldier of the late 7th. Maryland
Regiment Seven pounds twelve Shillings and six pence balance of his five months pay from
the 1st. August to 31 December 1780 per Certificate of the Deputy Auditor.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning.

Wednesday 23d. December 1789

The Council met.

Present as on Yesterday.

Ordered that the western Shore treasurer pay to Stephen Wood Six pounds due him
per Account passed by the Deputy Auditor.

Commissions issued to the following persons appointed Justices of the Peace and
Orphans Courts:

Caecil County

Joseph Gilpin, Stephen Hyland, Samuel Glenn, Samuel Miller, Elihu Hall of Elisha,
William Matthews, Patrick Ewing, Peter Lawson, Sidney George, Jeremiah Baker, Samuel
Evans, Michael Wallace, Richard Bond, Tobias Rudolph junr., John Miller, William Ward,
John Chew Thomas and Samuel Maffitt Justices of the County Court [p. 128].

Joseph Gilpin, Stephen Hyland, Sidney George, Michael Wallace and Tobias Rudolph
junr. Justices of the Orphans Court.

Talbot County
