The Council adjourned till tomorrow morning.

The Council met.

Present as on Yesterday.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning.

Wednesday 9th. September 1789

Present as on Yesterday.

Present as on yesterday.

The Council adjourned till Monday the 14th. instant.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Roger A. Hooper Three pounds due him
per Account passed by the Auditor.

That the said Treasurer pay to Benjamin Nicholson Esqr. Sixty two pounds, ten shillings
for one quarter's Salary as Judge of the Court of Admiralty due the 1st. August last,

That the said Treasurer pay to Christopher Richmond Three pounds, three Shillings and
eight pence due him per Account passed by the Deputy Auditor.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning.

Thursday 17th. September 1789

A Petition from John Ward Veazey Collector of Taxes for Caecil County, and Peter
Lawson one of the Securities and William Matthews the surviving Executor of John Dockery
Thompson the other Security of the said Veazey, praying a Suspension of the Sales of their
property until the last of November next, was read and endorsed as follows.
