That the said Treasurer pay to Adam Hope Executor of John Patterson fifty six pounds,
nineteen shillings and ten pence [p. 41] half penny specie agreeably to "Act to adjust
the debts due from this State" per Certificate adjusted by the Deputy Auditor, due the 1st.
September 1787.

Ordered that the Bond of William Campbell dated the 5th. January last with Charles
Wallace and George Mann his Securities, taken for his faithful performance of the Duties of
Collector of Ann Arundel County enjoined by An Act of the last Session of Assembly, and
which was not delivered to the Treasurer agreeably to the directions of the Board, be now
delivered to the Clerk of the General Court.

In Council March 4th. 1789

Henry Hunt Esqr. Collector of taxes for Calvert County, having prayed the indulgence
which, by An Act of Assembly passed at their last Session entitled "An Act to empower the
Governor and Council to compound with the discoverers of british property and for other
purposes", this Board is authorized to grant on certain Conditions, which Conditions the said
Henry Hunt has complied with, and the Board being of opinion that he has used his best en-
deavors to discharge the Balance he owes the State—Resolved that no process issue against the
said Henry Hunt or his Securities for the Recovery of the Balance due from him to the State
for the taxes collectable in Calvert County, for three Months from the date hereof.

Thomas Beatty Esquire Collector of Taxes for Frederick County, having prayed the
indulgence which by An Act of Assembly passed at their last Session entitled "An Act to em-
power the Governor and Council to compound with the discoverers of british property and for
other purposes" this Board is authorized to grant on certain Conditions, which Conditions the
said Thomas Beatty has complied with, and the Board being of Opinion that he has [p.
42] used his best endeavors to discharge the balance he owes the State Resolved that no
Execution issue against the said Thomas Beatty or his Securities for the Recovery of the bal-
ance due from him to the State for the taxes in Frederick County aforesaid for the years 1786
and 1787, for three Months from the date hereof.
