The Council met.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Mrs. Ann Levascher widow of the late
Lieut. John Levascher fifteen pounds for three Months half pay due the 1st. February last.
The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning.

Wednesday 4th. March 1789

The Council met.
Present as on Yesterday.

Ordered that the W. S. Treasurer pay to Samuel Sterett Attorney for Messieurs Van-
staphorst the sum of three thousand pounds Current Money collected, and to be collected in
Virtue of the Act to procure a permanent fund for the Debt due from this State to the said
Messieurs Vanstaphorst, part to be applied to the payment of the interest which will become
due in the present year on the Loan negotiated by the said Messieurs Vanstaphorst, and the
residue to the payment of the advances of interest made by the said Messieurs Vanstaphorst
upon the said Loan.

That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Jones Esqr. fifty pounds for One quarter's Salary
as one of the Judges of the Court of Appeals due him the 1st. February last.
