Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to William Gilmour Eighteen pounds
fifteen shillings on Account,
That the said Treasurer pay to William A Needham Five pounds, twelve shillings and
six pence for three months half pay due the 1st May last.
In Council July 20, 1793
Redmond Barry by his Petition sets forth, that he was recognized in the sum of [p.
249] ten pounds Current Money for the appearance of a certain Margaret Bryan before
the Justices of Baltimore County Court of Oyer and terminer and goal delivery, at November
term last on behalf of the State against a certain Michael Talbot, that at the said term the said
Margaret did not appear, that through his ignorance of the law and the practice of the said
Court, he neglected to bring the said Margaret into Court agreeably to the tenor of his
recognizance, whereby the same became forfeited, as appears by a Certificate from the
Clerk of the said Court, that the payment of the said forfeiture would be ruinous to his
family. The Board taking into consideration the matters set forth in the said Petition and the
circumstances of the Petitioner, and three of the Justices of the said Court having recommended
a remission of the forfeiture, it is hereby ordered that eight pounds of the said forfeiture be
remitted upon payment of the Costs arising thereon.
