"14 Nov. 1791—11 Nov. 1793" 333

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Thomas Beatty Fifteen pounds fifteen
shillings and six pence for the use of and to be delivered over to Henry McClary due him per
account passed by the Auditor.

Monday 22d. April 1793

The Council met.

Present as on Saturday.

John Dicks formerly a subject of the King of Great Britain appeared before the Board,
and Voluntarily made repeated and subscribed a Declaration of his Belief in the Christian
Relegion [sic] and also took repeated and subscribed the Oath prescribed by the "Act for
Naturalization," wherefore he is now become a subject of this State.

[p. 228] Saturday 27th. April 1793

The Council met.
Present Mr Brice

Mr Ridgely

Mr Davidson

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to William Gilmour Thirty pounds on
Account.

Monday 29th. April 1793

The Council met.
Present Mr Brice

Mr Kilty

Mr Davidson

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Jubb Fowler Twelve pounds, ten shillings
per Account passed by the Auditor General.

Wednesday 1st. May 1793

The Council met.
Present Mr Brice

Mr Ridgely

Mr Davidson

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to William Harwood Eighteen pounds
fifteen shillings for one quarter's Salary as Clerk of the House of Delegates due this Day.
[p. 229]. Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Henry Ridgely Esq'r. Thirty
seven pounds, ten shillings for one Quarter's Salary as a Member of the Council,

That the said Treasurer pay to James Brice Esq'r. Thirty seven pounds, ten shillings for
one quarter's Salary as a Member of the Council,

That the said Treasurer pay to John Davidson Esq'r. Thirty seven pounds, ten shillings
for one quarter's Salary as a member of the Council,
