Ordered that Captain Trueman be requested to deliver to them the Key of the room
appropriated to the use of the house of delegates for the purpose of holding Court therein during
the present term, and that they also have the use of the Jury Room.

Randolph Brandt Latimer Esquire Agent for the State, lays before the Board the appli-
cation of Henry Howard of Baltimore County to be released from certain purchases of con-
fiscated property Amounting to four thousand three hundred and twenty four pounds, fourteen
shillings and three pence on account of his inability to pay the same, and acquaints the Board
that with their approbation he is disposed to release the said Howard on condition of his
paying the sum of Eight hundred and seventy five pounds, whereupon the Board being satisfied
of Mr Howards inability to pay the sum for which he is engaged to the State do agree that the
Agent take back the property and release Mr Howard on the terms above mentioned.

Summons's issued to David D. Barrow and John Hardcastle of Talbot County; Robert
Hardcastle, Philemon Carson, and John Willis of Caroline County and Joshua Willis of
Dorchester County, severally to be and appear before the Governor and Council on the first
Tuesday in May next to testify on behalf of Charles Daffin of Caroline County on the hearing
of his complaint against George Martin Surveyer of the said County.
