Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Thomas Johnson jun'r One hundred
and five pounds, one shilling and five pence half penny for the Board etc. of Miss Grason, and
also the further Sum of Five pounds, nineteen shillings due him per Account passed by the
Auditor,
That the said Treasurer pay to Joseph Clark Trustee of Stephen Clark Eighteen shillings
and three pence due him per Account passed by the Auditor
In Council February 9, 1793
It appearing to the Board on the Petition of George Jessraw of Baltimore town that he
was presented and fined the sum of Six pounds Current Money, in Baltimore County Court at
last January term, for selling Spiritous [sic] liquors without licence, that he is a sea faring
Man, and was at Sea at August term 1791 when licences were to be taken out by Retailers of
Spiritous liquors, and did not return 'till after the close of the Court, and that while he was
at Sea one of his family sold a pint of Wine to a certain Absolam [sic] Knight for which
the said Jessraw was presented and fined as aforesaid, and it appearing also that the Costs
of the same Prosecution amount to the sum of Seven pounds, nineteen shillings and three
[p. 206] pence, and the truth of the said facts having been certified by credible persons,
and the said Jessraw being recommended by the Chief Justice and two of the Associate Justices
of the said Court for relief it is thereupon Ordered that the said fine of six pounds be remitted
and the said Jessraw released therefrom, he first paying all the legal costs of the said Prosecution.

In Council February 9th. 1793
It appearing by the Petition of Charles Cole of Baltimore County, that he was convicted
of selling Liquors without licence and fined by the Justices of Baltimore County Court of Oyer
and terminer, the quantity of Six hundred pounds of Tobacco, and it further appearing to the
Board on the Petition aforesaid that the Father of said Petitioner obtained a licence at August
term last as Ordinary keeper but since which, and before the commission of the said Offence
the Father of the said Petitioner departed this life and that the said Petitioner sold the said
liquors under an Idea that it was lawful for him so to do under the licence to his father, and
the said Petitioner [p. 207] being recommended as an object worthy the interposition
of the Executive by four of the Justices of the said Court It is therefore Ordered that the said
fine be remitted on the Petitioners paying all Costs.

fifty pounds for one quarter's Salary as Chief Judge of the General Court due the 1st instant.
