Randolph Brandt Latimer Esq'r. appointed Agent by the General Assembly in "An Act
to appoint an Agent for the year 1793" executed a Bond with Charles Wallace and Benjamin
Harwood his securities in the penalty of twenty thousand pounds well and truly to perform
the duties required by the said Act with a Certificate of his qualification before the Chancellor
endorsed thereon, which is approved and sent to the Treasurer of the western shore.

In Council January 17. 1793

The Board being in possession of the Return from the several Sheriffs of the second
District consisting of the Counties of Talbot, Queen Anns, Kent and Ccecil, of an Election
held in pursuance of Writs for that purpose, duly issued, for the choice of a Representative of
this State in the Congress of the United States for the said District in the room of Joshua
Seney Esquire who has resigned, proceeded to enumerate and ascertain the number of Votes for
each and every Candidate, when it appeared that the Hon'ble William Hindman Esquire had
the greatest number of votes. Wherefore it is declared that the said William Hindman is duly
elected a Representative of this State in the Congress of the United States.

Given in Council at the City of Annapolis under the Seal of the State of Maryland this
seventeenth day of January in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and ninety
three.
