neighbours met accidentally at his house, and when he Sold the Cyder without knowing, as the
Petitioners have reason to believe that he thereby offended against the Laws, they therefore
pray that the fines may be remitted. The Board on consideration of the said Representation do
direct that the said fines, fifteen in number to the Amount of Fifty six pounds, five shillings, be
remitted upon the said Isaac Moore's paying all the Costs arising on the said Prosecution.

Ordered that John Shaw, Armourer deliver to Colo. John Eccleston, all the Horsemen's
Swords that may be in the Armoury, and an equal number of damaged Belts and take his
Receipt with an Obligation to return them when called for.

[p. 177] Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to William Harwood Seventy five
pounds for one Year's salary as Clerk of the House of Delegates due the 1st of November last.

Thos S. Lee To the Sheriff of County Greeting:

Whereas by the Resignation of Joshua Seney Esquire, signified by a letter dated the third
instant a vacancy had arisen in the Representation of this State in the house of Representatives
of the United States, which vacancy in conformity to the direction of an Act of Assembly passed
November Session One thousand seven hundred and ninety, entitled "An Act directing the
time, place, and manner of holding Elections for Representatives etc" and in virtue of An Act
of [p. 178] this present session of Assembly entitled "An Act to provide for the filling
the vacancy in the House of Representatives of the Congress of the United States occasioned
by the resignation of Joshua Seney Esquire," must be filled by a Person residing within the
second District of this State as designated by the Act aforesaid passed November session one
