154 "Journal of the Council"

Wednesday 10th. November 1790

His Excellency John Eager Howard Esqr. attended
The Hon'ble. Randolph B. Latimer

John Davidson and

John Kilty Esquires appeared in the Council Room, and

qualified before Allen Quynn Esqr. one of the Justices of the Peace for Ann Arundel County,
by taking the several Oaths required by the Constitution and Form of Government, and Laws
of this State, and making and subscribing a Declaration of their belief in the Christian Religion
—Certificate thereof produced and filed.

Mr. Thomas Johnson junior was appointed Clerk of the Council, who qualified as such,
before Allen Quynn Esqr. one of the Justices of the Peace for Ann Arundel County, and
Certificate thereof produced and filed.

Mr. Jubb Fowler appointed Messenger to the Council.

The Council adjourned till tomorrow morning.

[p. 244] Thursday nth. November 1790

The Council met.
Present as on yesterday.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning.

Friday 12th. November 1790

The Council met.

Present as on yesterday.

The Council adjourned till tomorrow morning.

Saturday 13th. November 1790

The Council met.

The Council adjourned 'till Monday morning.

Monday 15th. November 1790

Henry Ridgely Esquire appeared in the Council room, produced a Certificate of his qualifi-
cation as a Member of the Council, and took his Seat.
The Hon'ble. John Kilty Esqr. attended.
