Commission issued to Philip Greybell elected Sheriff of Baltimore
County.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning 11 o'clock.

Commission issued to Francis Ware elected Sheriff of Charles
County.

The Honble John H. Stone and Samuel T. Wright Esqrs. at-
tended.

A Letter was this Day received from William Harrison of Charles
County dated the 8th. instant resigning his Commission as Colonel
of the 26 Battalion of Militia in said County, which was accepted.

It appears by the Certificate of Upton Sheredine's and John
Lawrence of Frederick County dated the 30 August 1777, that
James Cole was assessed five pounds by a Committee as a non-
enroller, which is more than the said Cole's circumstances will
