Present His Excellency William Paca Esquire Governor.

The Honorable

Charles Wallace, Aquila Paca, John Davidson and Sam'l. T. Wright.
The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning 11 o'clock.

Saturday 25th. June 1785

The Council met.
Present as on Yesterday.

William Hanson Esquire of Charles County is appointed Ex-
aminer General in the room of Mr. Vachel Downes who has refused.
The Council adjourned till Tuesday the 28 instant.

Tuesday 28th. June 1785

The Council met.

Present the Honorable Charles Wallace, Aquila Paca and John
Davidson Esquires.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning 11 o'clock.

Wednesday 29th. June 1785
The Honble. Aquila Paca and John Davidson Esquires attended.

[p 43] Thursday 30th. June 1785
The same Members attended as on Yesterday.

Friday 1st. July 1785

The Council met.

Present the Honorable
Aquila Paca, John Davidson and Samuel T. Wright Esquires.

Richard Jones and James Mumford formerly Subjects of Great
Britain, who have lately arrived in this State, appeared before this
Board and did severally Voluntarily make, repeat and subscribe a
Declaration of their Belief in the Christian Religion, and also took,
repeated and Subscribed the Oath prescribed by the "Act for Natural-
ization" whereupon they are now become Subjects of this State.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning 11 o'clock.

Saturday 2d. July 1785

The Council met.

Present His Excellency William Paca Esquire Governor.

The Honorable

Aquila Paca, John Davidson and Samuel T. Wright Esquires.
