280 Journal of the State Council, 1784-1789.

That the said Treasurer pay to Randolph Brandt Latimer Thirty
one pounds five shillings for one quarter's Salary as Dep'y. Aud'r.
due this Day.

That the said Treasurer pay to Capt. Robert Denny Thirty three
pounds fifteen shillings for one quarter's Salary as Clerk to the Com-
missioner due this Day.

That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Johnson junr. fifty pounds
for one quarter's Salary as Clerk of the Council due this first instant.

The Council adjourned 'till Monday next.

[p 342] Monday 4th. August 1788

The Council met.

Present His Excellency William Smallwood Esquire.
The Hon'ble. Jeremiah T. Chase

James Brice

John Davidson

Benja. Harrison Esquires.

Ordered that the Western Shore Treasurer pay to Christopher
Richmond Sixty two pounds, ten shillings for one quarter's Salary
as Auditor General due the 1st. instant.

The Council adjourned 'till Thursday next.

Thursday 7th. August 1788

The Council met.

Present as on Monday.

Ordered that the Western Shore Treasurer pay to Benjamin
Mackall Esqr. fifty pounds for one quarter's Salary as one of the
Judges of the Court of Appeals due the 1st. instant,

That the said Treasurer pay to Benjamin Nicholson Esqr. Sixty
two pounds, ten shillings for one quarter's Salary as Judge of the
Court of Admiralty due the 1st. instant,

That the said Treasurer pay to Colo. John H. Stone forty two
pounds, three shillings and nine pence for three Months half pay due
the 1st. instant,

That the said Treasurer pay to Joshua Dorsey seven pounds ten
shillings for one quarter's Salary as Clerk of the Senate due the 1st.
instant,

That the said Treasurer pay to Charles Robinson four pounds
thirteen shillings and ten pence for provisions Supplied the Convicts
lately sent from the Bahama Islands to Baltimore and sent here under
Guard by the Criminal Court.

The Council adjourned 'till Monday morning next.
