Ordered that the Western Shore Treasurer pay to John Shaw
Twenty five pounds for six months Salary as Armourer at Annapolis
due the 1st. May last,
That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Piper Three pounds for
repairing the public pump per Account passed by the Deputy Auditor.
The Council adjourned 'till Thursday next.

Pursuant to An Act of Assembly passed April Session last entitled
"An Act for the benefit of John Frederick Amelung," were produced
to this Board two Bonds dated twentieth day of June seventeen
hundred and eighty eight, executed by the said John Frederick
Amelung, with Thomas Johnson, Benjamin Ogle and George
Schnertzell Securities, each in the penalty of One thousand pounds
Current Money Conditioned for the payment of five hundred pounds
like Money into the Treasury in three and four years from the Dates
respectively, which are approved of and Orders directed to be drawn
agreeably to said Act.
[p 329] Ordered that Margaret Fischer Executrix of Adam
Fischer deceased late Collector of the taxes for Frederick County in
the year one thousand seven hundred and eighty five, pay unto John
Frederick Amelung five hundred pounds Current Money on demand
in Virtue of An Act of Assembly passed April Session last entitled
"An Act for the benefit of John Frederick Amelung."
Ordered that Thomas Beatty Collector of the taxes for Frederick
County in the year one thousand seven hundred and eighty six pay
unto John Frederick Amelung five hundred pounds Current Money
on demand in Virtue of an act of Assembly passed April Session
last, entitled "An Act for the benefit of John Frederick Amelung."
The above orders delivered to Philip Lengstack on his Receipt.
Ordered that the Clerk lodge the Bonds above mentioned with
the Treasurer of the Western Shore, taking his Receipt for the same.
Ordered that the Western Shore Treasurer pay to Thomas John-
son junr. Twenty seven pounds, fifteen shillings and two pence
Current Money due him per Account passed by the Auditor General.
Commission issued to Charles Mankin appointed one of the
Coroners in Charles County.
Mr. Benjamin Howard of Anne Arundel County is appointed
to Collect the Tax due in such of the Districts in the said County
