Saturday 26th. May 1787

The Council met.

Ordered that the Western Shore Treasurer pay to George Digges
Esqr. Fourteen pounds and two pence specie agreeably to the "Act
to adjust the Debts due from this State" per Account passed by the
Deputy Auditor the said Digges executing a Bond in the penalty of
double the above sum to indemnify the State against a Certificate
dated August 24, 1781 from Hezekiah Reeder for two Steers
weighing six hundred and twenty five pounds with fifth Quarter
which hath been lost or mislaid.

The Council adjourned 'till Monday morning 11 o'clock.

Ordered that the Western Shore Treasurer pay to Colo. Uriah
Forrest Thirty three pounds fifteen shillings for three Months half
pay due him the 1st. instant.
