twelve shillings specie which said Order is now returned And In-
terest thereon to the 10th. Instant.

That the said Treasurer pay to James Hook Fourteen pounds
seven shillings, and also to Jacob Hoffman Eighteen shillings and
ten pence specie agreeably to the Act to adjust the Debts due from
this State per Certificates adjusted by the Dep'y. Aud't'r.

The Council adjourned 'till Monday Morning 11 o'clock.

Monday 14th. May 1787

His Excellency William Smallwood Esquire.

The Hon'ble. James Brice and John Davidson Esquires attended.

Commission issued to John Gibson 3d. conformably to a Resolu-
tion of the General Assembly appointing him Register of Wills for
Talbot County in the room of James Bracco, deceased.

Tuesday 15th. May 1787

The Council met.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning 11 o'clock.

Ordered that the Western Shore Treasurer pay to William
Hemsley sixty one pounds, fifteen shillings and one penny specie
agreeably to the "Act to adjust the Debts due from this State" per
certificates adjusted by the Dep'y. Auditor the 15th. of this instant.

That the said Treasurer pay to William Morgan Nineteen pounds,
fourteen shillings and nine pence and to Winstone Dallam Fifteen
shillings and five pence specie agreeably to the "Act to adjust the
Debts due from this State" per Accounts passed by the Dep'y. Aud'r.
the 14th. instant.

That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Wallace Executor of
Samuel Patterson Thirty pounds, six shillings and six pence specie
as aforesaid per Account passed by the Aud'r. General the 29 May
1786.

That the said Treasurer pay to Mrs. Mary Hilleary Widow of the
