186 Journal of the State Council, 1784-1789.

Thursday 26th. April 1787

The Council met.

Present

The Honorable James Brice

James Hindman

John Kilty Esquires.

Ordered that the Western Shore Treasurer pay to Robert Picker-
ing Twelve pounds, four shillings and nine pence, and to James
Sherwood Twenty five pounds, ten shillings specie agreeably to the
"Act to adjust the Debts due from this State" per Accounts passed
by the Auditor General the 1st. Instant.

Commission issued to William Loveday appointed One of the
Coroners of Talbot County.

Ordered that the Western Shore Treasurer pay to John Newman
Eight pounds, one shilling and eight pence, Henry Funk One pound
five shillings and David Black Three pounds, five shillings and nine
pence specie agreeably to the "Act to adjust the Debts due from this
State" per Accounts passed by the Auditor General the 1st. Instant.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning 11 o'clock.

Friday 27th. April 1787

His Excellency William Smallwood Esquire.

The Honorable James Hindman and John Kilty Esquires at-
tended.

Saturday 28th. April 1787

His Excellency William Smallwood Esqr.

The Honorable James Brice and John Kilty Esqrs. attended.

His Excellency and the same Members attended as on Saturday.

Tuesday 1st. May 1787

The Council met.

Ordered That the Western Shore Treasurer pay to Randolph B.
Latimer Thirty one pounds five shillings for One quarter's Salary
as Deputy Aud'r. due this instant.
