The Council adjourned 'till Monday morning 11 o'clock.

[p 223] Monday 23d. April 1787

The Council met.
Present

The Hon'ble. James Brice

James Hindman

John Kilty

John Davidson Esquires.

Ordered that the Western Shore Treasurer pay to Henry Ennalls
Twenty five pounds, three shillings and five pence specie agreeably
to the "Act to adjust the Debts due from this State" per Account
passed by the Auditor General the 1st. instant.

That the said Treasurer pay to William Veazy One hundred and
twenty pounds specie agreeably to the Act aforesaid per Account
passed by the Aud'r. General due the 20 August 1783.

That the said Treasurer pay to James Gille's Adm'r. Eighteen
pounds fifteen shillings, Jonathan Short's Adm'r. Fifteen pounds,
twelve shillings and six pence and also to William Crookshanks
Admx Fifteen pounds, twelve shillings and six pence due for five
Months pay as Trumpeter and Troopers in Lees Legion from 1st.
August 1780 to 1st. January 1781 per Certificates of Auditor
General.

That the said Treasurer pay to Jub Fowler Three pounds Current
Money per Account passed by the Deputy Auditor.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning 11 o'clock.

Tuesday 24th. April 1787

The Council met.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning 11 o'clock.

Wednesday 25th. April 1787

The Council met.

Present His Excellency William Smallwood Esqr.

The Hon'ble. Jere. T. Chase, James Brice, James Hindman and
John Kilty Esquires.

[p 224] Commission issued to Burton Whetcroft appointed one
of the Coroners of Anne Arundel County.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning 11 o'clock.
