smith Presbury, Isaac Vanbibber, Peter Shepherd, John Craddock,
Jeremiah Johnson, Charles Ridgely of Wm., Christopher Vaughan,
Robert Lammon, Abram Vanbibber, Thomas Russell, William
Russell, Robert North Carnan, Edward Cockey, Thomas Elliott,
Doct'r. John Coulter, Thomas Todd, Doct'r. Lyde Goodwin, William
Goodwin, John E. Howard, William Patterson, John James, Richard
Owings of Samuel, and Edmond Stansbury appointed Justices of
Baltimore County, and also to

Andrew Buchanan, John Moale, Isaac Vanbibber, William Russell,
Lyde Goodwin, John Coulter and William Goodwin appointed
Justices of the Orphans Court of Baltimore County.

The Justices of the Peace and Orphans Court for Washington
County are hereby re-appointed and continued.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow 11 o'clock.

Friday 4th. February 1785

The Council met.

Present His Excellency William Paca Esquire Governor.

The Honorable

Aquila Paca, John Davidson, John H. Stone and Samuel T. Wright
Esqrs.

Commissions issued to Charles Jones, Edward Burgess, Oneas
Campbell, Joseph Wilson, Samuel Magruder, James Offutt, Richard
Thompson, Walter Beall, Richard Wooton, Richard Smith, George
Beall Jun'r., Thomas Beall, John Holmes, William Smith and
Benjamin C Stoddert [p 21] appointed Justices of the
Peace for Montgomery County and also to

Charles Jones, Edward Burgess, Joseph Wilson, Richard Wooton
and Benjamin C. Stoddert appointed Justices of the Orphans Court
of Montgomery County.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow 11 o'clock.

Saturday 5th. February 1785

The Council met.

Present the Honorable
Aquila Paca, John Davidson and Samuel T. Wright Esquires.

Ordered that the Western Shore Treasurer pay to John Johnson
Six Pounds, four shillings and three pence, current money, amount
of account for Goods furnished James O'Hara by order of the
Governor and Council in Virtue of a Resolution of the General As-
sembly of July 1779.

The Honorable John H. Stone Esquire attended.

The Council adjourned 'till Monday 11 o'clock.

Monday 7th. February 1785
