158 Journal of the State Council, 1784-1789.

[p 192] Ordered That the Western Shore Treasurer pay to
John H. Stone & Co. One hundred and ninety seven pounds, six
shillings and three pence Current Money on the Order of Messrs.
Willing, Morris and Swanwick of the nth. instant advanced by
them to William Harrison and William Hindman Esquires, Dele-
gates to Congress to be charged to them as per L're. of advice.

That the said Treasurer pay to John Shaw Thirty pounds to be
by him expended in the purchase of Wood for the public, and ac-
counted for.

That the said Treasurer pay to John Hamilton late Agent for the
Maryland line Thirteen pounds, ten shillings agreeably to the Direc-
tions of the General Assembly, expressed in their Resolution of the
18th. instant and to be charged to the United States.

His Excellency William Smallwood Esquire attended.

Ordered That the Western Shore Treasurer pay to Jacob Haller
Four pounds, sixteen shillings specie agreeably to the "Act to adjust
the Debts due from this State" per Account passed by the Auditor
General the 1st. June last.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning 11 o'clock.
