That the said Treasurer pay to Joseph Clark Seven hundred and
sixty eight pounds, nineteen shillings, and three pence three farthings
Current Money due for Expenditures in repairing the public build-
ings, up to the 22d. of July per Account examined by the Auditor
General.
That the said Treasurer pay to Aquila Paca for the use of Margaret
Kemble Administratrix of Stephen, Ten pounds, five shillings Cur-
rent Money Balance of 5 Months pay due him as a Soldier of the
3d. Regiment from 1st. of August 1780 to 1st. of January 1781 per
Certificate of Auditor General.
The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning 11 o'clock.
Friday 4th. August 1786
The Council met.

[p 156] Ordered That the Western Shore Treasurer pay to
William Paca Esquire Fifty pounds Current Money for One
Quarter's Salary as a Member of the Council due the 2d. instant.
That the said Treasurer pay to Jub Fowler Messenger to the
Governor and Council and House keeper of the public Buildings
Twenty five pounds Current Money for One quarter's Salary due
the 1st. instant.
That the said Treasurer pay to Robert Hanson Harrison Esqr.
One hundred and fifty pounds Current Money for One quarter's
Salary as Chief Judge of the General Court due the 1st. instant.
That the said Treasurer pay to Robert Goldsborough Esqr. One
hundred and twenty five pounds Current Money for One Quarter's
Salary as One of the Judges of the General Court due the 1st. instant.
That the said Treasurer pay to Christopher Richmond Esquire
Two hundred and twenty five pounds Current Money for half a year's
Salary as Auditor General fine the 1st. instant.
That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Johnson junr. Fifty eight
pounds, six shillings and eight pence for four Months Salary as
Deputy Auditor ending the 1st. of March last and also the further
Sum of One hundred and Eighty seven pounds, ten shillings Current
Money for three Quarter's Salary as Clerk of the Council ending the
1st. instant.
That the said Treasurer pay to Robert Couden Six pounds seven-
teen shillings and six pence Current Money due him per Account
passed by the Auditor General.
That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Townsend, Three pounds
Current Money for employing hands and removing the Cannon from
the College hill to the Governors house per Account passed by the
Auditor General.
That the said Treasurer pay to Cob. John H. Stone Forty two
