for Pay from 1st. August 1780 to 1st. January 1781 per Certificate
of the Auditor General.
That the said Treasurer pay to David Stewart and David Plunket
One hundred and five pounds, eight shillings and four pence current
Money in lieu of Sixty three pounds, five shillings Sterling for the
Passages of and advances made the following indented Servants for
the State and to be charged to them in the proportions following and
to be deducted from their Wages Viz to Dennis Kerney, Anthony
Jones, Michael Butler and Maurice Roche each Twenty one pounds,
fifteen shillings Current Money and to Hugh Satchell Eighteen
pounds Eight shillings and four pence like money.
That the said Treasurer pay to John Sliney Seven pounds sixteen
shillings and seven pence, James Hutchings Eighteen pounds, five
shillings and three pence, James Hutchings Adm'r. of John Price
Eighty two pounds Eighteen shillings and six pence, and to Elizabeth
Jones Adm'x. of William Kirby Jones Eighteen pounds, sixteen
shillings and one penny specie agreeably to the "Act to adjust the
Debts due from this State" per Accounts passed by the Auditor
General the 1st. June last.
That the said Treasurer pay to Charles Lansdale Twelve pounds,
ten shillings current Money for the Carriage of Public Letters One
Year per Account passed by the Auditor General.
The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning 11 o'clock.

Thursday the 10th, of August next is appointed to take into Con-
sideration the Memorial of John A. Thomas Esq. complain'g. of the
Conduct of Walker Hanson, John Dent [p 149] and Samuel
Hanson Esqr. Justices of Charles County in a riot at June Court last.
The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning 11 o'clock.

Ordered That the Western Shore Treasurer pay to John Shaw
Forty six pounds, five shillings current Money allowed him by this
Board for his services as armourer from 1st. November 1785 to
12 June last.
