Husband was entitled when in service.

The Council adjourned 'till Monday morning 11 o'clock.

Monday 15th. May 1786

The Council met.

Present as on Saturday.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning 11 o'clock.

Tuesday 16th. May 1786

The Council met.

Present as on Yesterday.

Commission issued to Zachariah Wade appointed Inspector at
Broad Creek Warehouse in Prince George's County, James Hawkins
who was first Commissioned and the two other Gentlemen nominated
by the Commissioners of the Tax having resigned in favor and
recommended the said Wade.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning 11 o'clock.

Wednesday 17th. May 1786

The Council met.

Present His Excellency William Smallwood Esquire.

The Honorable James Brice

William Paca Esquires.

Ordered That the Western Shore Treasurer pay to Jonathan
Slater Thirty one pounds, nineteen shillings and six pence specie
agreeably to the "Act to adjust the Debts due from this State" per
Certificate adjusted by the Auditor General the 1st. August 1784.

That the said Treasurer pay to William Osborn for the use and
by order of Benjamin Rumsey Esq. One hundred pounds Current
Money for half a Year's Salary as one of the Judges of the Court of
Appeals due the 1st. Instant.

[p 131] Ordered That the Western Shore Treasurer pay to
Nathaniel Morgan Four pounds and ten pence and also to John
Steinseiffer Two pounds One shilling and two pence specie agreeably
to the "Act to adjust the Debts due from this State" per Accounts
passed by the Aud'r. Gen'l, the 1st Instant.

That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Taylor Two pounds eleven
shillings and four pence and also to Robert Hunt One pound fifteen
shillings and five pence specie agreeably to the "Act to adjust the
Debts due from this State" per Accounts passed by the Aud'r. Gen-
eral the 3d. Instant.

That the said Treasurer pay to Nicholas Hockey Sixteen pounds
