And the said Thomas Pattison the Deputy surveyr returned also
to the Court here a Certificate of the Resurvey of the said land
Called Alexandrs place by him made by vertue of the warrant of of
resurvey aforesaid Certificate also followeth in these words
Maryland ss:
March ye 24th 1680
To the Rtt honoble Charles Absolute Lord and Propry of the
Provinces of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of Balte
more &ca
By vertue of a Warrant of Resurvey granted out of yor Lopps
Office for lands unto Anthony Dawson and Rebecca his wife &
Thomas Walker & Sarah his wife bearing date the Two and twenty
eth day of ffebruary 1680 I Thomas Pattison Deputy Surveyr for
the County of Dorchester in the Province of Maryland doe in
humble manner certify That I have according to the Tenor of the
said warrt Resurveyed and layd out for them the said Anthony
Dawson and Rebecca his wife. Thomas Taylor and Sarah his wife
All that parcell of land called Alexanders place all the sur
plusage Contained in the said land and the bounds thereof according
to the antient meets and bounds thereof, The said land lyeing on the
east side of Chesepeake bay On the west side of Transquakeing River
in Dorchestr County aforesaid Begining att a marked Hiccory stand
ing by the said River Side from thence Runing Up the River bounded
therewith North and by west ffoure hundred ninety perches to a
Swampe Called Wrights Swampe the bounds of a parcell of land
belonging to Ismael Wright, ffrom thence Runing into the woods
for length west and by South ffive hundred and thirty foure
perches, ifrom thence runing South & by east One hundred Ninety
and five perches, ifrom thence runing from the end of the said
Line East and by south halfe a point southerly with a straight
line until1 it intersect a paralell wth the first specified marked Hic
cory Containing and now Resurveyed & laid out for One thousand
& one hundred and thirty Acres more or lesse to be held of the
mannor of

And thereupon the said Cause was continued untill this day to
witt the fourteenth day of October in the Seaventh yeare of the
