Comand was giuen to the Sheriffe of St Maryes
County, that by good & lawfull men of his baily-
wick he make known unto Elizabeth Potter widdow

that she be & appeare here the third day of June
in the fourth yeare of the Dominion of Charles Lord Baltemore &c
Annoq Doni 1679. to shew cause (if any she haue) why Execution
should not issue forth upon a judgmt obtained against her by Hugh
Reynolds the fifth day of Octobr Anno Doni 1677, for three thou-
sand three hundred thirty five pounds of tobacco debt & five hundred
thirty & six pounds of tobacco costs of Suite On which said third

day of June the same Sheriffe made Returne of the writt aforesaid,
that by Solomon Jones & John Biscoe good & lawfull men of his
bailywick he had made known unto the said Eliza Potter to be and
appeare as by the same writt he was comanded.
Afterwards to witt the fifth day of June in the yeare aforesaid
came the said Hugh Reynolds by Kenelm Cheseldyn his Attorney
and praycth his Execution of the debt & costs aforesaid And the said
Elizabeth in her proper person likewise came And saith nothing to
prclude the said Hugh Reynolds from his said Execution, Therefore
itt is considered that the said Hugh Reynolds have his Execucon
against the said Elizabeth Potter of the debt & costs aforesaid And
also pounds of tobacco costs of suite sithence laid
out & expended

1 Comand was given to the Sheriffe of Baltemore
County that he Repleive & cause to be deliv-
ered unto George Yate Admr of the Goods &
J Chatties of Robert Wilson deceased one gray
Gelding which Wm Cromwell tooke & unjustly

detaines as itt is said, And that he putt by surety & safe pledge the
aforesaid Wm Cromwell that he be & appeare here the third day of
June in the fourth yeare of the Dominion of Charles Lord Baltemore
&c Annoq Doni 1679 to answer the aforesaid George Yate of a plea
of takeing & unjustly detaining of the Gelding aforesaid. On which
said third day of June in the yeare aforesaid the same Sheriffe made
returne of the writt aforesaid that the said Wm Cromwell is not to
be found in his bailywick but absconds himselfe, & hath conveyed
away the gray gelding that he could not Repleive the same. Where-
upon the said George Yate by George Parker his Attorney prayed a
withernam against the said Wm Cromwell & itt is granted unto him
by the Court here
