James Thompson the Sume of Seven hundred Sixty five pounds of
tobacco a certaine debt for damages recovered against him As also
the sume of five hundred thirty six pounds of tobacco which to the
said James was adjudged for his costs & charges expended in a cer-
taine matter of difference between the said James Thompson plain-
tiffe & the said ffrancis Wyne defend' in a plea of trespas upon the
Case Which said writt of Capias ad satis faciendum was by the then
Sheriffe of Charles County aforesaid executed upon him the said
ffrancis Wyne as by the same writt & returne thereof Endorsed there-
upon in these words vizt Concordantur Benja Rozer Sheriffe a tran-
script whereof is here in Court produced more fully doth appeare,
& this he is ready to averr And therefore the said ffrancis Wine
prayes judgmt if any other or further Execution ought to be granted
to the said James Thompson against the said ffrancis Wyne for the
said debt of Seven hundred Sixty fiue pounds of tobacco And the
Sume five hundred thirty six pounds of tobacco costs of suite
Which being read & heard itt seemeth to the Justices here that the
said plea of the said ffrancis Wyne in forme aforesaid pleaded & the

matter therein Contained are sufficient in Law to retard the said
James Thompson from haveing his said Execution against the said
ffrancis Wyne Therefore itt is considered that the said writt of
Scire facias against the said ffrancis Wyne in forme aforesaid
obtained be Abated And that the said ffrancis Wyne recover against
the said James Thompson the Sume of Eight hundred & Sixty
pounds of tobacco for his costs & charges by him about his defence
in this behalfe laid out & expended And that the said ffrancis have
thereof Execution

Comand was given to the Sheriffe of Ann Arundell
County That whereas Henry Stocket late in the
County Court held before the Comissionrs of the
County aforesaid by a judgmt of the said Court
|

recovered against Robert Peca recovered against Robert Peca the
sume of two thousand six hundreds pounds of tobacco damages
together with nine hundred forty & one pounds of tobacco costs of
suite, for the speedier obtaining of which said damages and costs
the said Henry Stocket prosecuted out of the said County Court a
writt of fieri facias to ye said Sheriffe directed; by Vertue whereof
the same Sheriffe made returne, that by vertue thereof he had Seized
of the Goods & Chatties of the said Robert Peca one white Mare,
one young stone horse, one gunn, one feather bedd, two red blan-
ketts, one white hamock & one red Cow & calfe And whereas after-
wards to witt the nineteenth day of June in the yeare of our Lord
One thousand six hundred Seventy seven the said Robert Peca
obtained a writt of Error & Supsedeas out of this Court of the
judgemt aforesaid, & gave security to prosecute the same before the
