returned a Cepi in this cause, the plaintiffe
by Robert Carvile her Attorney moved the
J Court for speciall baile, & itt is granted, where-
upon this day to witt the Eleventh day of

March in the fourth yeare of the Dominion of Charles Lord Balte-
more &c Annoq Doni 1678. cometh the said John Richardson with
Wm Watson & John Glover his suerties, And the said Wm Watson &
John Glover did undertake for him the said John Richardson in the
Sume of foure thousand nine hundred thirty eight pounds of tobacco
to be Levyed of their & either of their lands & tenements Goods and
Chatties to the use of Abigail Wright Adm* of the Goods & Chatties
rights & Creditts of Arthur Wright deceased upon this condicon
That if the said Abigail Wright doe obtaine a judgmt in an action
of debt depending in this Court against John Richardson the Defendt
That then the said Richardson shall pay the condemnacon or deliver
himselfe to the prison of the Sheriffe of the County of St Maryes,
or they the said Wm Watson & John Glover will doe itt for him,
which security was accepted of by the plaintiffes Attorney And the
Defendt by Robert Ridgely imparled hereunto untill next Provinciall
Court, the same day is given to the plaintiffe also

that he should Attach any the Goods or Chatties of
Joseph Chew if they should be found in his baily-
wick to the Value of five hundred & ninety pounds

of tobacco And when he had the same so Attached or any part thereof
the same in his custody to keep untill the said Joseph Chew should
by himselfe or his Attorney appeare here the fourth day of March
in the fourth yeare of the Dominion of Charles Lord Baltemore &c
Annoq Doni 1678 to answer unto Robert Carvile gentt in a plea of
debt, which said fourth day of March on which the said Court was by
his Lordpps writt of Adjournmt Adjourned untill the fifth day of
March then next following And from the said fifth day of March
was by his Lordpps writt of Adjournmt Adjourned untill the sixth
