       Anne Hamond on behalfe of her husband John Hammond de
      mands wart agst Mrs Anne Tilney Exequutrix to Richard Hotchkeys
      deceased.
         Want to ye Sheriffe of St Maries County to arrest &c: Ret next

       To all men to whome these presents shall come. I Philip Land of
      St Maries, in ye Prouince of Maryland send greeting in Our Lord
      God Euerlasting. Know yee yt whereas there was a Plantaön be
      longing to the Estate of John Wheatlie sould to me ye sd Philip Land
      by the Executors of ye sd John Wheatlie, for ye summe of fifteene
      hundred weight of Tob. ifon ye true paymt whereof I ye sd Philip
      Land did bind ouer One senuant named Anthony Crowder as Se
      curity. And whereas ye sd Tob is yett unpayd for wch ye sd Anthony
      Crowder stood bownd as aforesd. And whereas Mr Richard Wil
      lan one of ye Executors of ye sd John Wheatlie hath declared him
      self e willing to take the sayd Land againe for ye use of ye Orphans
      of ye sd Wheatlie, & to discharge me ye sd Philip from ye sd flueteene
      hundd pownds of Tob. in case I would bind ouer the Anthony
      Crowder as security for ye paymt of Seauen hundd pownds of Tob
      to ye Executors aforesd. wch sd seauen hundd pownds of Tob ye
      sd Philip receaued for ye Rent of ye aforesd PlantaOn during ye time
      it was in ye posesn of me ye sd Philip. Now Know yee yt I ye sd Philip
      Land doe hereby assigne back all my Right & tytle to ye sd Plantaôn
      aforesd, unto ye Executors of ye sd Wheatlie, & doe ailso by these
      presents firmely bind ouer ye sd Anthony Crowder as security for
      ye true paymt of ye sd Seauen hundd pownds of Tob. soe receaued
      as aforesd. In wittnes whereof I ye Philip Land haue hereunto sett
      my hand ye Sixteenth day of Nouembr 1659
